The CCWSC knows that learning doesn’t stop when Scholars graduate from their social work program. That’s why the CCWSC is committed to ongoing training and professional development opportunities for our Scholars and the broader child welfare field in Colorado and beyond.
Join us for coaching!
We are thrilled to offer CCWSC alumni a unique opportunity to connect and grow through monthly group coaching events. Held each month, these drop-in sessions hosted by the Butler Institute for Families at the University of Denver provide a supportive space to delve into the successes and challenges of applying social work values and skills in child welfare.
These 60-minute sessions are designed to foster a holistic approach to personal and professional development. Rather than focusing on specific cases, participants are encouraged to bring their whole selves, share experiences, and tap into the collective wisdom of their peers.
Facilitated by International Coaching Federation trained coaches, these events ensure a trusting and enriching environment for all attendees.
